The Tale of Attalla
Two girls, Atana Waterbuck and Carmen Mendoza, are workers for the Superhero League. Their commander sends them to embark on a dangerous mission that involves the capture of a known criminal, Deke Gruff. Meanwhile, Carmen gets a new kid in school, Bertram Gruff, who may have familial relations to Deke. Once Atana drags Bertram into the mission and the girls have a fight, Carmen formulates a plan to apologize. Most unfortunately, the plan goes wrong. Now Carmen and Bertram have to play a game of cat and mouse to get Atana back, complete their mission, and not die.
About Sydney
Sydney Sanders is a 12-year-old with a serious sweet tooth. She’s in middle school, and has two siblings. Her favorite color is dark red and she’s a huge Harry Potter fan. Sydney’s been writing short stories since she was six, and she’s decent at drawing. When she grows up, she plans to be an architectural engineer as well as an entrepreneur.
